Spain continues to draw British buyers seeking a new life or a bolthole in the sun like nowhere else. Properties on the Costa Blanca, as well as homes on the Costa del Sol and Mallorca remain popular destinations but in terms of the actual bricks and mortar, what do buyers want?

Leading Spanish property portal, Kyero.com’s latest analysis of enquiries to the site reveals some insightful trends as to what buyers want. The provinces of Alicante, Malaga and Mallorca accounted for the majority of enquiries during H1 2013 with 46% seeking properties priced between €50,000 and €150,000.
Further analysis shows that across Spain, 40% of enquiries made were for apartments whilst 33% desired a 3 bedroom property. Meanwhile, unsurprisingly over half of enquiries (55%) requested a swimming pool.
